Many people equate brokenness with weakness, however, this is not the case in the Kingdom. There is power in brokenness. Pastor Amanda Conner elaborated on the power of brokenness this Sunday.
There is power in brokenness. Brokenness leads us closer to God. When we are broken and allow God to come and fix our hearts and minds we are changed. Often God will draw us to Him when we are broken.
Brokenness brings to us the awareness of our own humanity. Brokenness brings forth total and complete fruitfulness. If we are not willing to be broken we will not be willing to be fruitful.
We, as the Ecclesia, the church body as a whole, must move toward brokenness in order to grow closer to God.
God is more interested in using broken people than those who hold themselves together.
What are steps as individuals we can take in order to become more broken?
-We can pray and not set a time limit.
-We can worship and let the Holy Spirit lead us in songs.
-We can intercede and allow the Holy Spirit to lead us to a place of weeping if He wants.
Most of all, we MUST not cut out the Holy Spirit’s activity in our life. It is through His activity that we become more sensitive to brokenness.
We, The Gate Church, desire you to allow brokenness in your life in order to become closer to Him. To View This Message Click Here!
